Todd and Julie Chrisley report to federal prisons to begin their sentences

Reality TV stars Todd and Julie Chrisley are now in the custody of federal prison officials, according to their attorney, Alex Little.

Couples from last month Sentenced in November Jail for fraud and tax offences, they were notified Reserved Jails Before Tuesday’s deadline in Florida and Kentucky, it was noon local time, Little told CNN.

Todd Chrisley has been with FPC Pensacola for 12 years.

Julie Chrisley is serving a seven-year sentence at FMC Lexington, Kentucky, which is described on the prison’s website as an “administrative security federal medical facility with an adjacent minimum security satellite camp.”

The Chrisleys are known for their reality show “Chrisley Knows Best”. Convicted in June in a Georgia court for conspiring to defraud banks out of more than $30 million in fraudulent loans.

The couple and their accountant have been convicted of multiple tax crimes, including attempting to defraud the IRS and collecting delinquent taxes, according to the Justice Department.

The Chrisleys maintain their innocence and are appealing their cases.

“Chrisley Knows Best” debuted on USA Network in 2014. An abbreviated tenth season is scheduled to air later this year.
