Actor Lance Reddick is being remembered by family and friends following his sudden death on Friday at the age of 60.

“Lance was taken from us too soon,” wrote Stephanie Reddick, the late actor’s widow, in an Instagram post Saturday. “Thank you for your overwhelming love, support and beautiful stories shared on these platforms over the past day. I see your messages and can’t begin to express how grateful I am to receive them.

Lance Reddick, a veteran character actor known for his role as Cedric Daniels on “The Wire” and his work on the “John Wick” franchise, died of natural causes, according to his representative Mia Hansen.
