Cats beat ‘Bous 4-2

One day after clinching first in the Central West Senior Hockey League regular season standings, the Grand Falls-Windsor Cataracts followed up with another win against the Clarenville Ford Caribous.

The Cats beat the ‘Bous at the Eastlink Events Centre Sunday afternoon, 4-2.

The game was knotted at one goal apiece heading into the final period of the game, but the Cataracts managed to pull out in front 3-1 in the third.

Stuart MacRae of the Caribous scored on the powerplay to cut the lead to 3-2, but Grand Falls-Windsor sealed the win with an empty net goal.
