With heavy hearts the family of the late Christopher Rodney Skinner mourns his passing at Nipper’s Harbour on August 13th, 2018. Born on March 5th, 1991 in Grand Falls-Windsor, Christopher was the only child of Edith and Rodney Skinner. Christopher had a great love for the outdoors such as camping, hunting, fishing, skidooing and quading with family and friends. On December 20th, 2014 God blessed him with his daughter Amyah; she was his world. This year he married Meagan Bridger; she has two beautiful daughters that Christopher loved and treated as his own. He was an amazing dad. Christopher worked in Alberta for a few years, commuting back and forth to be with his family. He was a hard worker and took pride in everything he did. Anyone that knows Christopher knew that he was a comedian, always pulling pranks on people and telling jokes. As a teenager he was always ready, willing and able to help out his family and friends if ever needed. Christopher's infectious smile, laughter and wonderful sense of humor will always be remembered and forever missed by all his family, aunts, uncles and a large circle of relatives and friends. Predeceased by grandparents, Bert and Myrtle Lee, and, George and Mary Skinner; aunts and uncles. Funeral service took place on Friday, August 17th, 2018, from St. Bartholomew's Anglican Church, Harbour Breton at 2:00 pm with Rev. Bruce Vallis officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Breton. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Spencer's Funeral Home.
