Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP investigating hit-and-run involving young boy


GRAND FALLS-WINDSOR, NL – The RCMP is asking for the public’s help in investigating a hit-and-run involving a young boy in Grand Falls-Windsor three weeks ago.

According to police, a three-year-old boy and his mother were crossing the intersection of Union Street and Circular Road just after noon on Aug. 28 when he was hit by a car.

The driver of the vehicle – a red Dodge Challenger or Charger – did not stop and immediately fled the scene.

The boy was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
