Gas down in N.L.; furnace oil up

Gas is down 1.2 cents per litre (cpl) as the Public Utilities Board set weekly maximum prices for regulated petroleum products in Newfoundland and Labrador.

The changes to other maximum fuel prices are:

 Diesel motor fuel on the island will increase by up to 2.0 cpl.

 Diesel motor fuel in Labrador will decrease by up to 1.9 cpl.

 Furnace oil heating fuel will increase by 1.67 cpl.

 Stove oil heating fuel will increase by 1.67 cpl;.

 Propane heating fuel will increase by 1.0 cpl.
