Queen Street will host its 9th annual Christmas show “A Wonderful Christmas Time,” Dec. 8-11 featuring music for the holiday season.
John Thompson creates the show.
“It’s an annual creation and it has a flow to it,” he said. “We do it in two segments — it’s three courses of food (with) Christmas/holiday music entertainment.”
As for who’s in the show, there are no auditions, Thompson said.
“It’s by invitation only. So basically we use anybody that’s around from the summer (and) we hope to incorporate them within this, as well as some of our local celebrities, if you will, local performers,” he said.
The Christmas show runs for four nights only. “It usually sells out in about 10 days,” Thompson told The Advertiser. “So come Dec. 1, I’m not looking to see who is going to come because it’s sold out (and) I’m trying to fit more people in.”
Tickets go on sale Monday, Oct. 19, and can be purchased online at www.queenstreetdinnertheatre.com or at the legion anytime after 2 p.m.
“It’s going to be a great evening, it always has been. It’s going to be good fun,” Thompson said. “Make your reservations early and don’t forget to book the babysitter!”
