AgriFoods & Garden Show underway this weekend in Grand Falls-Windsor

Stock up on locally grown produce at the Joe Byrne Arena

GRAND FALLS-WINDSOR, NL – Newfoundland and Labrador’s largest AgriFoods & Garden Show will take place in Grand Falls-Windsor Oct. 20-22 at the Joe Byrne Arena.  
Patrons can stock up on locally grown produce at the farmer’s market. There will also be food demonstrations, a petting farm, a Grade 5 agriculture spelling bee, as well as Moo-nica the milking cow.  

Events are scheduled for the whole family from Friday through Sunday. Hours of operation are Friday from 4 to 9 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m.to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10a.m. to 5p.m.  

Admission is free for children under 12 years, and $1 from every ticket will be donated to the Kids Eat Smart Foundation.  
Visitors are asked to bring along a non-perishable food item in support of the food bank.
