H1N1 death at Central Health

In a news release Sunday afternoon, Central Health CEO Karen McGrath expressed condolences to the family of a 36-year-old female who passed away Saturday as a result of complications of H1N1 infection.

Out of respect for the famly and friends of the deceased, further details will not be released by the health authority.

The news release advised the victim suffered from an underlying medical condition, but did not indicate the nature of that condition.
