Concert hits Grand Falls-Windsor July 14

Grand Falls-Windsor Mayor Al Hawkins has announced the date of this year's Exploits Valley Salmon Festival concert has been set for July 14.

Hawkins told the Advertiser further details, including the acts for this year's concert, will be available in the coming weeks.

Last year's Salmon Festival "rocked and rolled all night" with headliners Kiss, featuring Smashmouth, Fefe Dobson, The Orchestra, Down with Webster and more.

    Please try to have an act that will appeal to all of us baby-boomer generation this year! Love the SalmonFest but it's nice to have an older group later in the evening for us! lol....Burton Cummings, Bon Jovi, America, Hall and Oates, or the EAGLES !! Now THAT would be great!!!!! There are SO many great 70's bands! Would love to see one of them this year! EAGLES would be FANTASTIC !!! You would BLOCK the place! Looking forward to hearing the lineup.
